Sorry I haven't updated my blog for a while.  I have been busy doing wedding invitations, and party invitations.

I have really enjoyed doing these.
The little corset invites are for a ladies night party.  They were fun to do.

Good Day All:
 I have been playing with my Gypsy over the last few days trying to learn how to use it to it's full potential.

I have been learning to weld and use layers as well as just what it will do.  Here are some cards I made.

Gypsy

I finally bought a Gypsy!  I had a really hard time finding one to buy.  They are really scarce.  I finally found one in Nova Scotia on Kijiji.  It was new in the box.  My husband was working in Halifax so he picked it up and brought it home to me.  It had never been updated!!  I went on line to find out how to do all the updating and so on.  THE THING HAS BEEN UPDATING SINCE 7:30 MONDAY MORNING!!  Is there that much content
to download or is the Gypsy itself that slow?  It only took a few seconds to upload the content to my computer but it is taking forever to download it to the Gypsy.

Has anyone else had this problem?  It's frustrating having a new toy you can not play with.

It's a good thing I have 2 computers or it would not get updated.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Treat Cups

Good Morning Ladies:

I have been trying to make some treat cups out of acetate so they are clear.  Here is what I have come up with.  I hope they will be alright.  One is shaped like a french fry box and the other is shaped like a small popcorn box

My Husband and I went to Port Huron to do Black Friday.  Being Canadian it was our first time.  We had a great time.  We will definitely be going next year.  Here are some cards I made with the goodies I bought at Joanns.

Sorry I didn't post my Christmas pictures but we had our Great grandson for a week.  As much as I love him I am too old to look after a 3 year old for that long.  I will post some pictures of what I am doing at this point later today.

New Catalogue

Hello everyone.  Sorry for the long absence from my blog.  We have had a few family emergencies this summer and fall.  Hopefully everything is now on the mend.

I thought I would try my hand at making a fairly simple card and stepping it up.  I stepped it up twice to get different card fronts.  This is what I came up with.  Let me know what you think.

It's been awhile

It's been awhile since I posted to my blog.  Time seems to get away from me.  I have been doing a variety of cards the last little while.  here are some for you to look at.  I have been experimenting making my own flowers.  I do like some of them and you always have the correct color.

Here is my card for the monthly Christmas card challenge.  I chose snowflakes for my theme.  I am hoping this is the last of the snowflakes I see for the next 8 months.

Here is Day 15 of the 365 Day challenge.  Today's challenge was a color scheme challenge.  the colors were green, black and beige.  I like how this one turned out.
